SmallGarden 30-Day 100% Refund Policy

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a full refund for an unused SmallGarden. If you purchased your SmallGarden through an authorized retailer, please return your garden to the retailer with proof of purchase, in accordance with its policies. You may return any physical product purchased on edntech.com in accordance with the terms below. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • A return authorization must be requested from our customer service team within 30 days of delivery date. To request a return authorization, please contact our customer service team. Once approved, you will be provided with a prepaid shipping label and further instructions to complete your return.
  • You must return the product unused, and in good physical condition (not physically broken or damaged). All accessories originally included with your purchase must be unused, and included with your return or they will be subject to a replacement fee.
  • You must return the product in all original packaging. If the original shipment box has been discarded, please contact our customer service team and we will send a replacement shipping box for a fee.

Please allow 2-5 business days for all returned items to be inspected, and an additional 5-10 business days for the credit to be reflected on your bank statement.

Used products are not eligible for refunds.

SeedPod Return Policy

  • SeedPods are not eligible for returns or exchanges. In the case that a SeedPod does not germinate, please reference the Germination Guarantee tab above.
  • We do not offer replacements for Plant Your Own SeedPods as the user assumes all risk with planting their own seeds. For more information on sourcing seeds for custom planting in the SmallGarden, please refer to our PYO SeedPod guidelines here.
  • Membership SeedPods are subject to the same replacement policy as above. Membership SeedPod orders are not able to be changed, cancelled, or refunded after they have been processed.

Lost or Damaged Packages

All lost or damaged packages must be reported to our customer service team within 3 days of delivery receipt. Please do not discard any products or shipping materials until the issue has been resolved. When informing us of the damage, please include the following in your message: photo/video showing damage, description of damage, and any other valuable information.

Promotions

If you ordered from edntech.com using a promotional code and wish to make a return, the entire order must be returned, or you will be charged the original, non-discounted price for the pieces you'd like to keep. If you have questions about this policy or a specific order, please reach out to our customer service team.

Limited Warranty

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, EDN, Inc. warrants that under normal use in accordance with the documentation provided with the original packaging, the SmallGarden will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from shipment from edntech.com or an authorized dealer. A SmallGarden that is not free from defects in materials and/or workmanship is hereinafter referred to as a “Defective Product.” Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, EDN, Inc. will, at its sole and absolute discretion, either repair or replace the Defective Product and the replaced SmallGarden will be warranted for the remaining period of the original warranty.

The Limited Warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • You must notify EDN, Inc. in writing of the Defective Product during the Limited Warranty Period by emailing support@edntech.com and return the Defective Product to EDN, Inc. on or within thirty (30) days following the date you notified EDN, Inc. in writing of the Defective Product;
  • You must comply with EDN, Inc.’s return shipping instructions; and
  • You must provide EDN, Inc. with proof of the original purchase of the Defective Product from edntech.com or an authorized dealer.
  • You must obtain a returns authorization from EDN, Inc. prior to returning the Defective Product.
This warranty does not apply to SmallGardens damaged by misuse, accident, electrical disturbance or normal wear and tear. The SmallGarden is not designed for or warranted against damage from use in areas subject to extreme temperature, excessive moisture, or other inherently hazardous environments. All implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of this warranty. Except for the limited express warranties set for above, EDN, Inc. disclaims all other express or implied warranties or conditions.

Germination Guarantee

We want you to enjoy a beautiful and full garden indoors and that’s why we back our SeedPods with a Germination Guarantee. If any of your SeedPods fail to germinate within 14 days of planting, please reach out to our customer support team at support@edntech.com or fill out our germination form here. We will first offer troubleshooting steps to see if we can get the SeedPod to sprout! We do this so that your entire garden can stay on the same growth schedule to enhance the chances of germination and thrive evenly. If these steps do not work, we will replace the affected SeedPod(s) at no charge.

Germination Guarantee requires the following, but not limited to:
  • SeedPods must be purchased from edntech.com and have been planted within 12 months of delivery.
  • SeedPods must be planted in an ēdn garden to qualify for a replacement.
  • All 10 SeedPods must be planted in SmallGarden per ēdn's recommendations to qualify.
  • An image of the SeedPods that failed to germinate should be sent to the support team for troubleshooting.
  • SeedPods that are replaced may not be exchanged for a different variety unless the SeedPod that failed to germinate is no longer offered.
  • We do not have a Germination Guarantee for Plant Your Own SeedPods.
We may ask that you transfer a seedling from a SeedPod that has multiple sprouts to a Seedpod that has failed to germinate. This method is helpful for several reasons:
  • Allows your entire garden to remain on the same growth schedule.
  • Planting a new SeedPod after surrounding plants have grown will lower the growth success of the new seedling due to the larger plants overshadowing the seedling from accessing full light.
